Katherine Ni, DMD, MS
Dr. Katherine Ni grew up in southwest Michigan and was a three-sport athlete in high school. She then attended Grinnell College in Iowa and majored in Physics and participated in 2 college varsity sports. She began her dental education with dental hygiene at The University of Pittsburgh where she graduated class president and top of her class. She continued at the University of Pittsburgh to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.). During that time, she received multiple academic and research awards including “Outstanding Achievement in Periodontics” from the American Academy of Periodontics. Dr. Ni continued her training and received her Advanced Education in Periodontics and Dental Implants concurrently with earning her Master of Sciences in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Ni has received numerous awards throughout her dental education for research and academic excellence. Equally important to Dr. Ni’s passion for dentistry is her compassionate patient care. She engages with her patients to help them feel comfortable. Patients find her compassionate, knowledgeable, and she clearly explains her findings. Dr. Ni is easy to talk with and she encourages questions in-order to understand the treatment options. It is her caring attitude, talented clinical skills, positive energy and attention to detail that allow Dr. Ni the ability to provide exceptional patient care while sharing our practice philosophy.
Dr. Ni lives in Lancaster County with her husband, David, and her sons, Walter and Frederick. In her free time Dr. Ni enjoys cycling, sewing, and knitting.
